I have no musical background. Will I be able to take lessons?
Yes of course. We cater for all abilities and take pupils right from the very start of their musical development. Your musical foundations will be built from the ground upwards.
I am at an advanced level on my instrument. Can you teach me for a diploma?
Yes. Students can be prepared for this advanced level on request.
Is there a waiting room which I can use during my child's lesson?
Yes. We have a waiting area with comfortable sofas, books and magazines, for relatives and attendees to wait until the lesson has finished. There are also bookshops and coffee shops nearby.
Can I park outside the Young Academy?
Yes. Ample parking is available in the vicinity. Please note that the single yellow line indicates a parking restriction between 11am and 12 noon Monday to Friday only.
Can I reach you by public transport?
The Young Academy is easily accessible by public transport. We are situated five minutes from Pinner tube station, on the Metropolitan Line. Bus routes 183, H11, H12 and H13 have stops less than a minute away.
